Plus, I love that they make so many inexpensive storage pieces- from bookcases, to file cabinets, to pegboards. After laying them out how we wanted them, my dad cut theses triangular guides to keep the corner piece in the exact right place while we set up and secured the bookcases to the wall. We have 8 foot ceilings, so the Billy Bookcases with the Billy Extenders on top were the perfect height. In the picture above, you can see the bookshelves normally, and the extenders we put on top in front of them on the floor. Although the floor to ceiling design provide considerable more storage.
